Honeybee Joe's Background

Honeybee Rescuer

In 2020 I had a Honeybee Hive in my attic that I had someone rescue; that was the initial spark to learn more about honeybees and the rescue process. In 2023 I had another hive develop in my composter. I decided to rescue that hive myself and put it in a hive box in my back yard. Beehives are like potato chips…….. you can’t just have one. That is when I decided to not only rescue and raise honeybees but also teach others what I have learned.

Understanding and learning new processes to ensure a healthy hive is my passion. I am a dedicated and active member of BASC “Beekeepers Association of Southern California” which is the best way to learn best practices for raising honeybees.
