Apiaries

Honeybee Joe currently has 8 different registered Apiaries with the county of Riverside in Temecula Valley.

I visit each one of my hives every 2-3 weeks to see how they are doing. There are many things that can affect a hives success such as preventing Varroa Mite, Hive Beetle and Wax Moth infestation. During a dearth if the hive is new will require feeding them sugar water until it is strong enough to be self-supportive.

Honeybees are protected under California’s Endangered Species Act and are considered
Livestock by the USDA and protected as such. It is illegal to kill honeybees with
pesticides. Contact a professional beekeeper to safely and gently rescue and rehome
them.
